[Idea On] PA guild forum site
Idea: Host a site for smaller/new penny arcade centric guilds. Allowing these new guilds access to their own sub-forum and moderate it as they see fit.
Why: Because we have access to vbulletin and I’d like to see it go back to the penny-arcade forum community.
What I could use from you:
Would this be something you would be remotely interested in having?
If ‘yes’, then: what sort of features as a guild master/officer would you like the forums to have?
And any questions or comments would be useful too.
Right now I’ve just got things installed on the server so it’s operational. It’s currently hosted at www.thesixmouths.com . It’s just a basic vbulletin board with the vbadvanced news frontend. It is as vanilla as it gets.
Here’s a bit of history:
So about 6 months back the hosting server for www.thesixmouths.com completely shit itself. Everything at our hosting provider, for all intents and purposes, went up in flames. Last month I finally got the drive back from a data recovery center and they were unable to get any useful information off the drive. Now I had the choice of rebuilding the TSM site from the ground up or doing something new. I’m opting for something new.

So we're currently working on updating the site with some new formatting and getting a bunch of other stuff sorted out.
If you haven't heard, TSM's original host drive ate itself. I'm back to square one with everything. I'm hoping to transform this site into something the whole penny arcade community can use. The broad strokes of the idea is having a place where smaller PA guilds can get started.
Anyway it's going to be a work in progress for a while. I'll be posting something over on the PA forums in a while.
